Albany Medical College and Siena College today announced the winners of the region’s inaugural BACC Academy Biomedical Innovation Business Plan Competition. Congratulations to all the winners, especially to two Albany Med-related companies, that were honored at a press conference at Albany Med. The inaugural winners of the BACC Academy Biomedical Innovation Business Plan Competition received cash prizes totaling $25,000 and in-kind services based on business plans for innovative biomedical ventures presented to a panel of judges last December.

Vincent P. Verdile, M.D., ’84, The Lynne and Mark Groban, M.D., ’67, Distinguished Dean of Albany Medical College and Albany Med senior executive vice president for System Care Delivery, presented the awards with Charles Seifert, Ph.D., dean of Siena’s School of Business and professor of management.
